As many know, positive Covid-19 cases found in children are rare. Even less so, is the need for hospitalization for people under the age of 18 years old. Recently, Europe and North America has been seeing cases of somethings that's called Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in children. This syndrome is presented as an acute illness accompanied with hyper inflammatory illness which leads to multi-organ shock and failure. Additionally, high fevers and rashes can be found on the patient's body.

This syndrome has proved to be lethal and is believed to be tied to COVID-19. Current recommendation from the CDC is to stay at home and limit exposure to others that may carry the Coronavirus.
